What we check
SSL certificate
Real TLS handshake. Days remaining, issuer, SAN match, full chain validation. Catches mismatched hostnames and expired intermediates that simple checkers miss.
Domain expiry
RDAP lookup with IANA bootstrap and fallback for .io / .co / .ai. Days until expiry, registrar, nameservers.
DNS records
A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT — full snapshot. Useful baseline for change detection later.
HTTP status
GET with timeout, full redirect chain, latency, final URL. Distinguishes 'down' from '5xx' from 'TLS broken'.
SEO health
HTML head: title, description, canonical, robots meta, OG tags, hreflang. Plus robots.txt and sitemap.xml access.
Email authentication
SPF (validity + lookup count), DMARC (policy), DKIM (probes 18 common selectors). Catches the 'mail goes to spam' surprise.
Security headers + mixed content
HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, X-CTO, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy. Letter score A–F. Mixed-content scan on the HTML body.
Core Web Vitals
Google PageSpeed Insights. Lab + field LCP / INP / CLS / FCP / TTFB. Pass/fail per Google's published thresholds.
Popular domains
Jump straight into a fresh audit for any of these. Each is cached for 24h.

One-time check is fine. Daily is the whole point.
Pleenx runs all eight probes every morning across your whole portfolio, alerts on threshold transitions, and ships white-label PDF reports your clients actually open. Same probes, same accuracy, with three-tier alerts and history.
